Installing new hardware? It is always important to thoroughly read any manual you are given when you purchase new hardware before installing it to ensure it is compatible with the current specification of your computer and that it is installed correctly.

Installing new software, especially downloaded off of the internet can be a dangerous task, especially when you are not entirely certain of the file's source. We can download software off of the internet for you, conduct thorough virus scans (including spyware and adware) before providing you with a full report before you open the file. We can also research the best places to buy any software you require so that you pay the least amount possibly whilst still receiving the same high quality product.
If you have a broadband connection, it may even be possible to connect to your computer remotely to ensure software is installed or uninstalled correctly from your machine without damage or errors.

Operating System (OS)
Installing a new operating system (such as the new Microsoft Windows Vista) can be a long, daunting task that could take up hours of your computers processing power, and, if any errors occur, could result in the entire installation having to be repeated and even fatal loss of data on your computer's hard drives. We can support you through your installation of most versions of the Microsoft Windows operating systems as well as many Linux and Mac installations (including Yellow Dog 5 for the PS3).
When installing a new operating system, it may be necessary for the hard drive to be formatted (all it's data removed and overwritten) and so any data previously stored on it will be lost forever; we will provide you with all the support necessary to ensure this data is backed up correctly so you can retrieve it later.
Note: Because installing a new operating system can take a very long time, it may be necessary for the computer to be delivered to us as it is impossible to remotely connect over the internet whilst installing a new OS.
